I just realized that I actually forgot to post the second photoshoot. Whoops!
I know I said before that I thought taking pictures of possessions is cliché, but I still like the idea of taking pictures of shoes...I think you can tell a lot about a person from their shoes.
Photography journal
The actual theme of the project, or atleast my interpretation.
I didn't realize that I hadn't written down what I wanted to do...
Well I've been quite afraid about encountering clichés. I didn't want to do a project on people always putting on a facade or something, I felt like that had been done to death.
And an attack on human vanity also seems too obvious.
After skipping over like, a million themes, I decided to settle on anonymity without the alienation usually conveyed in pictures.
I guess it's because I like having a picture open to many interpretations, like, each person looks at the picture and has their own scenario and thoughts in their head, and no-one has an identical thought, you know?
I guess one thing that everyone could definitely get from the series of pictures is the fact that the solitary character does not want to be seen, for whatever reason.
My own interpretation is that the character both lives and revels in his own obscurity, constantly putting on an act to the point of feeling comfortable in it.
...That ain't what I'm like, though.

3rd Final project photoshoot
This one is based around the theme of masks this time, here's an example of the work.
I used the layer masks tool to select an area and blur it to achieve this effect.

Masks!
Masks are cool, I can use them to obscure my face too. Although I don't want to go overboard with fancy masks...

These are a bit too fashion-y...
Couldn't have a mask post without inserting a picture of Buckethead!
This one's awesome! A picture of my favourite musician, Flying Lotus. I like the moody, muted colours, the half mask yet obscured other half, the central composition...Very cool.
